Manitowish waters Chain of 10 lakes

All 10 lakes are navigable during the summer months. The lakes are fed by the Manitowish River. A dam on Rest Lakes marks the beginning of the chain. The deepest lake is Little Star (67 feet), the largest lake is Island (1,023 acres), and the smallest lake is Fawn (74 acres).
Lakes: Rest, Stone, Fawn, Clear, Spider, Island, Manitowish, Little Star, Alder, and Wild Rice.

Local ordinance permits waterskiing and tubing between the hours of 9am and 7pm.
