The town of Manitowish Waters has the following facilities available that are open to the public and are located at Hwy 51 and Airport Road by the Community Center: Tennis Courts, Paddle Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Baseball Diamond, and Children’s Playground Equipment. There is also a pavilion and hall available for large gatherings.

Trails
|
- Manitowish Waters Paved Bike
Trail - 1 mile long and starts just north of downtown at the North Lakeland Discovery Center and follows Hwy W south thru downtown, then follows Hwy 51 south and ends at Powell Road. However, Powell Marsh Road to Alder Lake Road to Bakken Road (approx. 8 miles) are designated bike trails and eventually link to the Boulder Junction and Sayner paved bike trail systems.
- Manitowish Waters North Lakeland Discovery Center ski/bike/hike
trail - Located just north of downtown Manitowish Waters and has several miles of trails thru the woods.
- Powell Marsh Wildlife Area
- has several miles of ski/bike/hike/hunt trails and is only a few miles from Alderwood Resort. There is over 6000 acres of wildlife refuge. Great for birding.
- Boulder Junction Bike/Hike Trail
System - Starts near downtown Boulder Junction and has 13 miles of paved trails. It's about a 15 minute drive from Alderwood Resort.
